Frequently Asked Questions
How long is a session?
Most sessions are 50 minutes.
What happens in the free consultation?
It's a 15-minute phone or video call. You share a little about what's going on, ask any questions, and we figure out together whether we're a good clinical fit. There's no cost and no obligation.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. We offer secure video sessions for clients anywhere in Colorado, as well as in-person sessions in Colorado Springs.
Do you take my insurance?
We accept Colorado Medicaid and most major insurance plans. See our Insurance & Payment page for the full list, or ask during your consultation.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes, with a few legal exceptions, such as a risk of serious harm to yourself or others or suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult. We review this with you in your first session.
How long will I be in therapy?
It depends on your goals. Some clients come for a few months to work on a specific concern; others stay longer for deeper work. We check in regularly about progress.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may be charged a fee.
