You Deserve to Be Truly Seen & Heard
Feeling stuck between who you are today and who you want to become can feel heavy. No one should have to navigate life's hardest transitions alone. At Lifespace, you are the hero of your own story. We are here to walk alongside you.
Works with adults and couples. Trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
"I believe your 'broken' moments are not dead ends, but the fertile soil where authentic growth and resilience flourish."
Even when the path forward feels blurred, hope remains. I work with individuals and couples ready to move from feeling stuck to self-discovery and connection. The relationship we build in therapy is the heart of the work: a safe, transparent space where you are honored exactly as you are.
Before becoming a counselor, I was a high school teacher and principal, and later the executive director of a social service nonprofit. Those years taught me how much potential lives in every person, and how heavy major life crises can be. I have been married to Jennifer for more than 25 years, and we are the proud parents of two young adults.
As a follower of Jesus Christ, I believe God created every person uniquely in His image. For clients who want it, I gladly integrate faith into counseling. For clients who don't, I always respect your beliefs.
My approach: Emotional Focused Therapy and attachment-based therapy; Gottman.
Education and license: MA, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Adams State University. Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC), Colorado #0024704.

"There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they are falling in." -Desmond Tutu

Whether you are facing a personal crisis, a painful transition, past trauma, or a crossroads in your relationships, these moments can become invitations to understand yourself more deeply. I offer an empathetic, judgment-free space where you can slow down, explore your experiences honestly, and heal at your own pace. Together we look at the pain you are carrying and the deeper patterns underneath it, moving beyond surviving toward lasting change.

My earlier career as a middle and high school teacher taught me to look past the surface and nurture growth during life's most transitional years. Sharing a 25+ year marriage with Jason and raising our two young adult children have taught me the messy, beautiful reality of family life.

As a committed follower of Jesus Christ, I see every person as an image-bearer of God with an inherent drive toward wholeness. Faith is part of our work together only if you want it to be.
